Once again, we want to say thanks to everyone who participated in our 2009 Benefit Golf Tournament. The tournament netted nearly $20,000 to continue taking the gospel to all the students in the Greater St. Louis area.
We enjoyed a great day of golf and fellowship in addition to generating critical financial resources for the campus ministry. Because we know that these have been challenging economic times for so many people, it makes your sacrificial giving even more special to us. No matter how often we say it, we simply can't say thanks enough for your partnership with us to minister to the college students in our area.
We remember Hudson Taylor's insightful words..."God's work done God's way will never lack for God's provision." Indeed this is the case. We are grateful for every dollar raised and are committed to using them strategically as the Lord leads for His glory.
On an important non-related note :) ... Dan would like to ensure everyone that the scoring of the tournament was performed by impartial judges. The fix was NOT on with Dan's brother winning the lowest overall score for the second year in a row!
