Sowing the Gospel Broadly

In the world of social networking, it isn't unusual for a college student to have hundreds of friends through sites such as Facebook. For some, it is easy to view these relationships as inferior to in person relationships. However, the 21st century reality is that students live and interact online. They truly "meet" and form (and share and deepen) relationships online.
Given the reality that we want to take the gospel to all the "places where people are," we hosted an evening of online conversations. Students chatted online. Students posted links to surveys. Students sent messages. It was an incredible night!
Students initiated well over 10,000 spiritual conversations. Over 1,000 friends completed surveys upon our request that we are still following up. Students who are on the summer mission project with us took steps of faith to talk with people close to them about spiritual topics.
