Drew (pictured) and Trevor (his picture wouldn't load--sorry, Trevor!) went to San Diego State University for their day of outreach. They “prayed for someone to talk with and the right words to share.” As soon as they had finished praying, they opened their eyes and saw a student, Hector, sitting under a tree, so they figured that he was the one with whom to talk. They started with the QuEST survey (Questions Exploring Students' Thinking) then transitioned to the gospel when Hector an interest of “10” as his desire to know God.
After sharing the gospel, Drew and Trevor invited Hector to receive Christ and Hector prayed out loud in the middle of campus as his expression of faith! They exchanged numbers and will start follow up next week.
