Kate and Ginger met two friends, Mary and Yenia, on campus at SDSU while they were sharing their faith. They were initiating conversations using the QuEST (Questions Exploring Students' Thinking) survey. The first survey question asks, "What three words would you use to describe your life?" Mary began to cry as she described her life as "complicated, perplexing, and lost."
Mary and Yenia explained that they were interested in Christianity but just didn't know what to think about spiritual things. They were very honest and genuine in their responses and seemed eager to hear the Christian message. After hearing the gospel, they both wanted to receive Christ! As we departed, they repeatedly thanked Kate and Ginger for telling them about Jesus. Ginger told me later that all four of them had marveled together at how God had set up a divine appointment.
