It was a great privilege to share with the kids from New Community Church at Vacation Bible School. Mackenzie jumped right in helping with the beads for the sandals.
Ali Mandrell, an SIUE student who just returned from summer project in Haiti, share about her experiences there with the kids.
The kids are LOVING VBS! The leaders are all in costumes from Egypt and all of the stories and crafts are built around this theme. It is quite a production!
The boys in the picture are in the "pharmacy." I think that the girls are weaving baskets in their picture.
Since 1998, I have enjoyed participating in a Bible study led originally by Jerry Marshall and now by Jason Alligood from New Community Church. We meet at 7:30am on Tuesdays in the Bigg House behind First Evangelical Free Church. The study and fellowship has been a real blessing to me over the years.
