I don't think that we have mentioned it yet, but we have started an addition to our house. We are very excited about this addition especially because it will give us more space in the kitchen and living room. We have been thinking and praying about this since we bought the house in 1996, so you can imagine how fun this is for us.
Here are some early contruction pics!
The first picture is the back of the house (minus the siding!) with the slab poured.
The second picture is of Mackenzie sledding behind the Bobcat! My cousin Jonathan was so good to the kids (Grant did get his turns as well!) while we were backfilling the area before we poured the slab. Mom, don't worry--they were very safe the whole time!
We will have a big work day this coming Saturday (11/18/07) and would love to ask you to come over and help if you are able!

Sara--I was talking about my mom although you are right, Holly might not have approved. This is what happens when she leaves the country! The kids had a great time! Thanks.
Sometimes I wonder how dads EVER get to be the designated babysitter! I think Holly should've left ALL the homeschooling for you to do...to keep you and the children out of harms way!
Dan - Weren't you supposed to have all the framing, flooring, and roof on by the time Holly got home? Maybe you should get some of those stadium lights and get those kids up on the ladders!
