The Final Breakdown . . .


Now that Mackenzie and Grant are turning 15 and 13, we have endured more than 10 ten years of pleas for a pet. It has been painful in varying degrees to say no - some times were easier than others (especially considering our travel schedule, our yard that is really too big to fence and a general desire for order).

In a weak moment, we decided that we would combine the kids' birthdays and get a dog. So began the search for a dog that doesn't shed but is bigger than a breadbox. We found that a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier would be a fun addition to our family. We presented Murphie, a little 9lb puppy, to
the kids:
