International Night at the Source

"Jesus Came for the Whole World" served as the theme for our final weekly meeting of the semester. We always try to do something a little special each year knowing that this might be the only Christmas program that some of the students will be a part of.

We were so blessed to have the country director from East Asia (pictured) join us to speak that night. He perserved through delayed flights and sickness to share with us. Bright (from Ghana) served as the emcee. Manny (from Equador) and Jasmine (China) shared their stories of coming to faith in Christ. (Manny and Bright are in the other picture.)
While the world is becoming “globally connected,” God has always been passionately connected to the whole world. Every tribe, tongue, and nation have been on His heart from the beginning, and someday we will all worship together around His throne (Rev. 7:9). We were privileged to get a small taste of that at the source as we talked about why Jesus came.
